Abstract
A performance measurement model that could warrant the responsibility of senior nursing homes is needed. This study has analyzed the strengths and weakness of the Talbot model, the Ji Eun-Gu model, and the EFQM model in order to develop a performance measurement model, and succeeded in developing the PMM model, which includes 9 performance measurement subjects according to a total of 3 perspectives. To develop the questions for each subjects of senior nursing homes, a total of 74 questions were selected by setting preliminary indexes. The results from the confidence validation of the model show that the Cronbach¡¯s ¥á, and CR value, which secures both confidence and validity. The validated PMM for senior nursing homes has been finalized with 31 questions in three perspectives and 9 subjects. The finalized model has been analyzed for relative importance through AHP analysis. Order of priorities according to perspective are 46% for Product P, 41% for Process P, and 13% for Value P according to the results of analysis on the converted values of relative weighted values. As seen above, the PMM for senior nursing homes developed in this study has made a final confirmation on goodness of model fitness, confidence, validity and relative importance analysis according to components, which empirically confirms its applicability as a PMM that could validate the multi-dimensionality of senior nursing homes.
